Integration of Cmaps into Websites

Have new ideas for the next release of IHMC CmapTools and IHMC CmapServer?
We welcome your suggestions and we will carefully consider whether to incorporate them into the software.

Integration of Cmaps into Websites

Post by syee02 »

We are using CmapTools to generate webpages, and have been using Export to Webpage.

Several issues have arisen...
1. We need to remove some unnecessary code from the CmapTools generated html to meet formatting standards for our system.
2. We need to add header menus, footer menus, and side bar menus to the cmap html, following a standard webpage format for our system.
3. We would like to be able to edit the font size of the resource link drop downs to a larger text size.
4. Ideally, the cmap webpages would be more useful if users could directly click the concept box [rather than the resource link drop down] to follow hyperlinks to other cmaps.
5. It would also be helpful if the "Mouseover Info" would appear on the generated web page.
6. Can we modify the icons displayed for the resource links?

We currently export the html, and then directly modify the html code. But it would be helpful if CmapTools could somehow allow you to add standard webpage formatting headers to the html, or the option to directly add hyperlinks to the concept box, when it generates web pages.

Thanks!
