What Is a KnowledgeSoup and how can we use and improve it?

As promised in viewtopic.php?f=6&t=77&p=157#p157 , here is my question.

In detail:

Is it possible to set the permissions to:
* Everyone (in the Web) can see it
* Each Cmap can be modified/deleted only by its author
* Each Cmap in the KnowledgeSoup can be linked with each other. (Or better on a fine-grained level: each remote node or edge can be linked to each other ).

Are there some experiences?

When modifying and saving the CmappersCommunityInitiative cmap, I experienced a "problem".
On the one hand the cmap showed up with the new integrated URL resource, pointing to our forum entry here,
on the other hand however the HTML-version appeared to be not updated.
I guess, it was only an update lag. Other experiences?
