Installer problem: Ubuntu 9.04 32bits

Post by siliconmeadow »

Hi,

When trying to install, I get the following error:

Code: Select all

/tmp/install.dir.2483/Linux/resource/jre/bin/java: 1: Syntax error: Unterminated quoted string
Any ideas how to fix it?

Kind regards,

Richard

Sorry, I didn't put this in the posting:

Version (from file?): Linuxx64CmapTools_v5.03_04-07-09.bin
OS: Ubuntu 9.04
Amount of RAM:

Code: Select all

ricardo@ricardo-desktop:~$ free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 3023 2937 86 0 6 853
-/+ buffers/cache: 2077 946
Swap: 8856 276 8579
ricardo@ricardo-desktop:~$
Ok, so I'm trashing this machine with a Vista VM at the same time, but should that cause a problem while installing?

Kind regards,

Richard

Ok then, the non-64bit version works.
