Hi,

I'm probably wrong, but I think you downloaded the 64Bit version of the installer, when you have a 32Bit operating system.

First of all, let's verify that you have a 64bits operating system. How? open a Terminal window and type:

uname -m

If you receive "i386" as an output, then it is an 32 Bit system.

Then download the installer again as a binary file. Remember that some browsers "treat" .bin files as text (ascii) files, so be sure the installer is download it as a binary. Then try to install CmapTools again.
