Dear folks,
Apple recently released a new update for its Java VM on Mac OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard. Since then, I can't run CmapTools 5.04 anymore. Each time I try lauching it the application crashes.
Is there a solution for that issue?

There seems to be an incompatibility with the Installer's program that checks for new versions.
Go to the "IHMC CmapTools" folder under Applications, select the "bin" folder within that folder, and run the "CmapTools.app". This should run without problems, without checking for new versions.

bin/CmapTools.app opens fine. However it sometimes crashes when quitting.

Did CmapTools crash, or did Java crash? We've seen cases where Java (not CmapTools) crashes when quiting.
