Hi guys, I hope that i can get some help from you.
Situation is this, I have set Cmap server at my workplace, and i wanted to get access to it from outside.
In this particular case from my home. I know that we have dynamic IP at work so I've set some DNS ( by no-ip http://www.no-ip.com/).
And everything works fine, but there is router and i have always give a password and my user name to get access.
And when i want to connect trough this DNS which I set i get error message that probably server is down.
Is there any way to get access to maps which I have at workplace from home?
Can you give me some advice?
Thanks in advance!

What do you mean "i get error message that probably server is down". Who is giving you that error message?
Make sure that ports are open to the CmapServer's machine: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=158.
Your workplace may have the ports blocked if accessed from outside.

Well, when I try add new place, I enter proper DNS in internet Host Name field in CmapTools.
The web port number which I set on server side is 81 and port is 4447, and when i click ok, "Tools" display error massage :
"Place or server is unreachable (it might be down)"
Router which we have, have all ports open, but when i want to access any content i have to provide password and login.
I'm confused, I really don't have any clue how to solve this.

What it means is that through those ports the CmapTools program could not contact the CmapServer.
If the router is asking your for a userid and password, then you have a router problem, not a CmapTools problem.

Thats right, i just don't know how to configure these both things.
Probably i have to set static IP for CmapServer on router or something.
I let you know if i figure this out.
Cheers
