Permission to edit & save Cmaps on Cmap Cloud have been lost

Good day. I'm running Cmap 6.01 on a Mac running OS 10.9.5.

I recently changed my account name, email address and Cmap Cloud password. I can make and edit files that are "in my computer' but can not edit and save files that are in my Cloud Folder. I have updated and changed the user name, email address, and password for my Cloud folder but I have lost the ability to edit and save the existing files in my Cloud folder. Please let me know how I can gain full functionality, or at the very least, establish and populate a new Cmap Cloud Folder. Thank you... Matt Huffine

Running Cmap Tools 6.01
Mac OS 10.9.5
4 gigs of ram

You can reset the password of the Cmap Cloud, but not the email address. You need to go into the Cmap Cloud with your old credentials, copy your Cmaps and resources to My Cmaps, then to reset your Cmap Cloud account you need to delete the profile.xml file, where the Cmap Cloud information is located. The profile.xml file is located at:

On the windows file system, go to the directory:

\Users\<your userid>\AppData\Roaming\CmapTools

In this directory you'll find a file named "profile.xml". If its not there, look under AppData\Local

Rename this file to something else, e.g profile.backup, to keep as a backup. Just make sure there is no profile.xml file in this directory.

Restart CmapTools and you will be asked for your credentials. Provide the new information and copy the Cmaps and resources to the new CmapCloud account.

In OS X, the file is located in ~/Library/CmapTools

To get to the Library directory, in the Finder, select the menu entry GO while holding the Option key. You'll se the CmapTools there.

Make sure CmapTools is not running when you delete the profile.xml file.

It could be that Cmap is not in my applications folder but in my Documents folder.

Well, I'm sorry to report, now I have lost everything. Is there a working copy of my Cloud Cmaps that can be recovered? If so, what information would you need from me to retrieve them? Matt

PS I have at least 300 hrs of work already invested.
