Not sure what you mean with "adapt".
If you want to have nodes (concepts or linking phrases) that have a fixed width and the text wrap around, select the node, then the Object tab in the Style Palette, and type in the # pts of width in the "Width" field. The nodes will now have that width alway.

Ah, ok, now I understand what you mean. Yes, you can resize the nodes.
