Hi
I am new to cmaps. I am trying top collaborate with others to make a cmap and am interested in having a discussion thread. When i click on the collaboration tab at the top of the cmap the only option that is bold is "Join cmap to soup" The other options i wanted to use re greyed out.Why is this? When i try to join a soup i get along list of possible soups but i am not able to start my own soup. Is there some where i need to go to get documentation help on setting up a discussion thread?
Thanks for your time
How can i get to use the collaboration feature

Before you post a problem or bug, please be sure you have included the version number of IHMC CmapTools, the operating system and version, the amount of RAM, and any other information that allows us to be able to replicate the problem you are having. (i.e. what were you doing when the problem occur? were you running another program (application) by the time you have the problem?)

Re: How can i get to use the collaboration feature
First, your Cmap must be in a CmapServer for you to collaborate on it. The other users must have access to the folder that contains it and have appropriate permissions on it. I recommend using the Cmap Cloud (see videos at http://cmap.ihmc.us on how to share a folder using the Cmap Cloud).
If two users open and edit the same Cmap on a CmapServer using CmapTools, a synchronous collaboration session is started and both can modify it at the same time.
You can also add a DT to a concept once it is in the CmapServer (or Cmap Cloud), or start your own Soup.
