In another post you wrote: "CmapTools' presentation mode is not a showcase of presentation features, but works great to have linked presentations and linked .pps (or equivalent) files... its quite popular".
I really like the presentation feature which gradually (and flexibly) reveals a concept map. Are you saying that I can link/embed, somehow, a cmap presentation of a .ppt file?
Currently, to use a cmap presentation in a .ppt I make screen shots of each cmap presentation slide, then import them into a .ppt (or google slides or LibreOffice slides) as a .jpg. Is there some integration?
integrate .ppt and cmaptools presentation?

Re: integrate .ppt and cmaptools presentation?
If you start from a PPS you cannot invoke a CmapTools presentation. But if you start from a CmapTools presentation (e.g. full screen), you can open a PPS through a link and it will display full screen. Hitting ESC in the PPS presentation will bring you back to the CmapTools presentation. This way you can open different PPS presentations along the way -- you can even pick which PPS presentations to open depending on the audience, time available, etc.
So, start your presentation from CmapTools, and open the various PPS files as you need the or progress through displaying your Cmap.

Re: integrate .ppt and cmaptools presentation?
I get it, you are saying that you add the pps files to a cmaptools folder (drag and drop will do), Then you add one or more of these resources to different bubbles in your cmap presentation and when you get to that specific bubble to which the resource/s have been added, you select which you want and when it opens it will open full screen and when you are done with that specific resource just by hitting the esc button on the keyboard you will be taken back to the full screen cmap presentation where you can continue advancing. In effect, the cmaptools file being presented is orchestrating the resources for your presentation.
Are there other types of resources w/which you can do this eg .ppsx or other cmaptools presentations? Any limitations to know about? This is very cool, thanks for making this available!

Re: integrate .ppt and cmaptools presentation?
Yes, you got it.
I've tried it with Keynote and other presentation programs and it continues to work better with .pps
Another important feature: if from CmapTools in presentation mode you open (possibly through a link) another CmapTools that has a presentation, it will also open in presentation mode. Hitting ESC will close it and take you back to the previous Cmap. So you can navigate through the Knowledge Model in presentation mode.
