cannot use the cmaptool

I successfully installed the cmaptool but cannot open it. Everytime when I tried, it just flashed and closed by itself. I found the original starter which said that I needed Java. However, after I installed Java, the problem still existed. Besides, I cannot uninstall it now, both by the uninstall tool given by cmaptool and by control panel. Don't know how to handle this problem...
version is Win64CmapTools_v6.02_08-11-16
