Node Width + Text Selection not working properly

Hi,
When I make a node more narrow with the Formatting Object -> Width -> e.g. 100, then selecting the content of the node with the mouse does not work properly. The selection does not reach the end of the text.
How To reproduce the error:
1. Create a Node
2. Fill it with quite a lot of text
3. Make the width of the Node smaller using Formatting Object -> Width -> e.g. 100
4. Try to select with your mouse from top to bottom.
The last characters are not going to be considered by the selection. You can fix the selection using the keyboard with Shift+Arrow Right, but not using the mouse.
I use CmapTools 6.03 on Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3
I have 8GB of RAM
Is there any way to fix that on my own?
