Cmap server installation on Linux virtual server

Hello.

Can I install Cmaptools server on linux virtual server over a CentOS Linux 5 or Debian 5 system or do I need to get some hardware for it?

Installation on a virtual server should be the same as a regular Linux installation. Download the appropriate server software and run the installer within the virtual machine.
