Move the cursor out of the way of the freshly produced bubble.

Post by ugofwarsq1 »

I double-click to create a new bubble and then begin typing whatever was on my mind at the time that prompted the double-click. I've been using CmapTools for years, and you'd think I'd have this problem handled, but it appears that the habit I require is elusive! It may be advisable to modify the interface to avoid this issue in the first place.

So, after I construct the bubble, I start typing, and guess what? I assume I mistyped something, so I study what I'm typing, and -- I can't read the letter/letters I just typed since they're always under the cursor! Then I have to move the cursor to see if I entered incorrectly. Annoying!

How about making it so that when someone double-clicks to create a bubble, if they do not move the mouse, the cursor becomes invisible, only to become visible when it is moved? Simple and elegant.

Of course, I could always try to remember to double-click, move the cursor, and start typing...

Several third-party applications can help you adjust how your cursor behaves. Examples include “Cursor Hider” or “AutoHideMouseCursor”. You can download and install one of these applications to make your cursor invisible when not moving.Monkey Mart

You should implement a feature where the cursor becomes invisible immediately after a double-click to create a new bubble. The cursor should become visible again only when the mouse is moved. Block Blast
