Distrubute Linux App via Flatpak / Flathub

Post by lostipod »

Hello,

The reason I'm suggesting this is because I love Linux but there's no way my parter would be able to install CmapTools by herself on Linux. I myself had a lot of difficulty. Also, since it is a container it would provide a common runtime environment for all Linux distributions, as well as the obvious advantage of universal distribution. Installing from Flathub is simple too.

Using a container like Flatpak will actually make the installation process simpler and more universal across different distributionstime card calculator.

Flatpak as a solution: Your suggestion of using CmapTools as a Flatpak package is a great one! Flatpaks are self-contained Pokemon Infinite Fusion applications that include all their dependencies, making them easy to install and run on most Linux distributions, regardless of the specific version.

Using Flatpak would also allow for easier distribution through platforms like Flathub, where users can discover and install Flatpak applications with just a few clicks. Strands
