My questions:
1. Is the development/maintenance of the "current-release" (e.g. bug fixes, new features, etc) also based on the research grants?
2. Does CMap team have a schedule of next versions release ?
Thanks
.

Re: to acanas; question about CMap maintenance/release

Yes. We also use the money from donations when downloading the software and ad-clicks, but this generates very little money.

We don't work as a commercial company, we are a research organization. Therefore we are not guided by a schedule of releases. We try different things (features, options, modules, etc.) and when some of them are ready we do put out a major release. Sometimes we make releases because we've fixed a set of nasty bugs, or because of changes on the environment (e.g. OS X changing the way the installer should work).
