I have used CmapTools for some time. It is a wonderful tool!
But I can not import "Propositions as text" from a UTF8 file. Other languages like german or chinese will not be displayed correctly!
I have tried some methods e.g. changing the language in preferences or changing the font in "stzle" afterwards. But either works.
Please help me! Thank you!
Best Regards!

Re: import from a UTF8 .txt file
I have tried there possibilities: with "UTF8", "UNICODE" and "UNICODE Big Endian". But neither of them works!
Thank you for your tipps. I hope, that I can also work with other languages.

sorry for the wrong typing! that should be "or changing the font in "style" afterwards. But neither works." "But none of them works!"

Re: import from a UTF8 .txt file
about the environment and others:
1, I am using a german operating sytem.
2, cmap containing german and chinese can be exported without problem into UTF8 .txt file
the import failure what I have described at the beginning can be improved?

Re: import from a UTF8 .txt file
Possibly I had a similar problem with importing from a UTF8.txt file, using an IMac (OSX 10.5).
The standard textedit, doesn't use CRLF line endings.
Workaround: Use another texteditor (e.g. the free Textwrangler), that allows specifying CRLF line endings.
Hope that helps.
