using cmaps in a personal website

Post by maxxish »

I am building a website on Yola. What advice can you give me about how to upload my cmap to be part of one of my webpages?

I tried exporting as a jpeg image but I couldn't edit it and add links to my webpages with that method
I tried to export as an HTML page but Yola doesn't allow files with .html

Thanks for all your help.

@maxxish:

I'm not familiar with Yola, but if they don't allow you to upload .html files, then you can create a folder in one of the IHMC Public CmapServers (search for instructions in this forum on how to share a concept map on a CmapServer), then copy your concept maps to that folder and automatically a web page version of the concept is generated and an URL is associated to that concept map. From Yola you need to create a link (HREF) to the concept map stored on the CmapServer.

For example: http://cmapspublic3.ihmc.us/

http://cmapskm.ihmc.us/rid=106400971002 ... erver.cmap

http://cmapskm.ihmc.us/rid=106400971002 ... ation.cmap
