Google Doc option

Have new ideas for the next release of IHMC CmapTools and IHMC CmapServer?

It would be wonderful for have a Google Doc/ spreadsheet and such as a type of document link

Please can you elaborate on what you think is needed?
Creating links to a particular Google document on your Google drive this becomes just another URL link and is available according to the share permissions you have set for the document on your drive.

You are correct it is a general url resource type. What I am looking for is that when you are selecting the resource type there would be a Google doc, spreadsheet and presentation icon. This way the cmapper could change the type to designate that specific resource as a Google Doc.

When you publish Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides to the web, anyone who has the URL to your publication can view them no matter what link sharing option you’ve chosen – private, anyone with the link, or public. Link sharing options don’t apply to a publication because the publication isn’t the original item but a separate webpage version. In other words, by publishing Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides, you’re creating a copy of them that’s a unique webpage with its own public URL.
